LED G4 Capsule bulb
The Star T G4 peanut LED is the ideal replacement for the Halogen G4 10W, and 20W star light lamp. The standard G4 Halogen has a lifetime of less than 1000Hrs while the Star-T-LED G4 lifetime is in excess of 20,000Hrs.
Due to the extremely long lifetime of the Star T G4 is the ideal solution for those hard to reach star light fittings. When the Halogen Starlight fitting was first developed, it was a popular choice for architects and interior designers when wishing to create a high dome starlight effect. However these designs where never truly effective due to the high maintenance cost of continuously having to replace halogen lamps. This problem is now solved by the introduction of the Star-T-LED G4.
Please note when considering the Star T retrofit, it is essential to check that your existing fitting is supplied by a wire wound transformer.
